Thanksgiving Book Project

This fun project pairs with the book Turkey Trouble by Wendi Silvano. (You can get a copy at your library or found it being read aloud online.) 

 

Turkey is going to be eaten by Farmer Jake for Thanksgiving unless he can find a clever disguise! Children will use their imagination to draw a disguise for Turkey. 

 

It is a fun drawing project by itself but if you wanted to add to it,  you could have the children decorate it with things like feathers, gems, stickers, pipe cleaners etc. You could also have them write a story about Turkey in his disguise.
